Oh So Close!

Down to the wire!  We hope to begin moving in next weekend! The second and third floor floors are done.  They sand and stain the first floor staring Tuesday, so we won't be able to walk on the first floor until Saturday. (Maurice will continue to work on the second floor by entering through a window via a ladder).  The electrician is back installing switches and lights, the plumber is installing shower heads and faucets. The painters are slow but thorough and are finishing up, including repainting one room as I hated the original color I chose.

Second and Third Floor Floors are Stained and Sealed.
Color is Classic Gray.

Looks like a bookcase, right?!

But, wait, it opens!

For my (not-so) secret storage spot!

Getting there...

Another quick trip to check on things and was pleasantly surprised as how much things continue to progress. School starts in just over a week, but we'd be happy to be in on Labor Day.

I wanted the first floor foyer to have a herringbone pattern.  I love it!

First Floor bath -- still needs painting

Tile being put down in the plant room. The blue lines are the heating element.  All tile floors (bathrooms, mudroom, plant room, garage foyer) will be heated.

Laundry room is just awaiting appliances and cabinets

Master bedroom colors -- darker ceiling, lighter walls

Master Dressing room.  Yes, it's bright.  But, the walls will be covered with built-in closet stuff in white, so you'll really only see color on the ceiling.  I love it, Joe hates it.
